This free audio
seminar includes discussion by an HIM
professional on the work that her
organization is doing to prepare for
ICD-10-CM/PCS implementation (her
discussion starts on slide 40 and is a
significant part of the presentation).
It was interesting to hear what they
are doing, what they’ve learned, and
tips that she had to offer. The first
part of this audio seminar covers very
useful information that has previously
been published by AHIMA. The audio is
worth 1 CEU.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid
Services (CMS) and Centers for Disease
Control and Prevention (CDC) have posted
the 2011 versions of the ICD-10-CM and
ICD-10-PCS code sets and general
equivalence mappings (GEMs), including
addenda files listing the changes.
